With almost no foreign investment, ravaged infrastructures and unstable living conditions, Afghanistan remains one of the poorest countries in the world. However, with international aid and remittances sent in by Afghan refugees along with returning expatriates who help bring the economy back to its feet, Afghanistan is on its recovery.
